Dealing With Emotional Overwhelm

Why are people trying to sell me something, right now?!

The last 2 weeks have been a true rollercoaster!  Here at Estmere, we’ve been using the last week to take stock of our business (both emotionally and logically.  To understand what may happen in the future, and how we can remain in great shape.  What we’ve identified for ourselves is the need to confirm certainty in the short term.

The same is true for all business we speak to.

What they don’t need is someone trying to sell them something.  But they do need help, to structure these reviews and plans.

What we’ve found is that some clients are leaping into their plans and forecasts – we’re provided resources to help with this in previous communications.

But others are overwhelmed.

With a problem as big as the one we’re facing right now its sometimes hard to know where to start.

We’ve developed a simple checklist to unpick the overwhelm – to understand the areas of your business that you consider are good, and where the problems are – right now.

And we’d like to offer this to you – free – with no obligation attached.

So, here’s what we suggest:

  1. Download the template and print it out
  2. Tick the boxes that represent the areas of your business you’re concerned about right now
  3. Use this as a basis of discussion with those you trust for help
  4. Prioritize action

As always we’re here to help, not to sell you something you don’t need right now.  If you’d like help to further understand how to best use this resource, please schedule a 30 minute call with us here. We wont try to sell you something, but we will try to help with clarity.

Also, feel free to revisit our articles on Business Forecasting and Cashflow Forecasting.
